I would love to try the game, but it doesn't seem to work. After clicking the button to start the game it freezes with the "Armor Games" logo. Hopefully this is a bug that is simply fixed. If it is, I'll come back and amend my rating appropriately.
not to bad, but nothing new.
Main faults:
The "Energy" bar is unclear. If it flickers a little red on the left side of it and the rest of the bar is in greyish blue, is that good or bad ?
Clicking the minimap does not move the screen to the position clicked.
Trying to place a building near other buildings results in clickingclickingclicking and FINALLY having it placed, this sucks. Instead, find the closest possible position to place the building and place it. I dont want to clicketyclick until i finally found a position where it fits in. It is not clearly visible where it fits in. Maybe, instead of only letting the building "in your hand" become particially visible instead of fully visible, make the placement circle around it red while it is not possible to place it, this also could fix this problem.
Navigating the screen by clicking and dragging seems a bit slow, maybe giving it about 1,5x of the current speed would help, for it (currently) is the only possibility to navigate.
Gonna play on now, c ya laterz :D
While this is a well put-together game, I can't help but notice that it is a rather brazen copy of that venerable classic flash game, The Space Game. Very little has changed, and some elements have actually been left out.
Add to that the fact that many basic elements of gameplay are less than polished, and I wonder why - except for the graphical upgrade - one would make this game. For example, placing construction elements is severely hampered by an unwritten rule that elements can't be within a certain distance from each other, meaning that it is possible to screw up a defensive line by misplacing a single laser. Ranges of lasers are unclear as well, and how much damage they do is difficult to interpret.
Other than that, a slick looking copy, but a copy nontheless.
This game I do enjoy but reminds me about Metroid and Ender's Game
