It's cold outside, there's no kind of atmosphere. But that's okay, you're just flying around in the cargo bay, moving crates around.

A game set in the world of Blue Dwarf, a text-based game where the ongoing story is created by its members. More about Blue Dwarf here: http://bluedwarf.co.uk

It's... good but maybe, with a bit of improvement should work. It needs some sound effects, damage taking, maybe fuel limits or horizontal engines, some obstacles, diferent types of enviroments, maybe enemies, and music.

Thanks very much for the feedback! I'm going to work on more levels thanks to this :-)

A great new take on lunar lander! Needs music, thruster, collision crunch & scrape & robot chatter sounds.

I think you can take soundbytes from the show, seeing as it's a free to play fan game.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll work on some more levels :-)

this is great. Only the red/blue dwarf could have come up with such a ridiculous thruster control system. Yet it works! .. mostly .. graphics are great, fluid and good resolution. Could use a little more background humor (like to see some handlers in the background messing around and smegging off), but for a short it's really well done. Nice one.. would love to see this same mechanic in a more interesting environment + story etc. It's fun!

theonion770 responds:

Great I'll add more!

Good proof of concept, no music, not very exciting.
Maybe add third dimension and really QWOP it up 6DOF style

theonion770 responds:

I think that might make it too insane :-P

The game was pretty fun, controls were smooth. But, it was pretty redundant was the objective was always the same. There's no music in between levels but the main menu. The only thing that kept me progressing was the operator's dialogue.

It felt too unfinished, considering the vague message I got after reaching the final level. You'll have a better chance submitting this to the forums instead of the portal.
