Layers of Shadow is a free massively multiplayer turn-based strategy with team battles.
Battles take place in the usual world and the shadow.
The shadow drinks mana and consists of several layers.
The higher a character’s level, the deeper they can go into the shadow.
For instance, the first layer is accessible for all characters, and the second one can be visited by Level 5+ characters.
A character cannot interact with other characters located on higher levels.

Each player starts the game as a guest.
Upon reaching the first level, the player can create a character, select the race and class.
Race is the side of force you will be fighting for. Races have no bonuses.
There are 5 classes in the game, each with unique spells.

This is the beta test of the game, which means that:
- there are no graphics.
- the max level is limited to 5 (the game will have 10)
- crashes are quite possible.
