Hi,
I know this isn't typical newgrounds material but it's as much an animation as any other stop motion.
I went round some charity shops and took photos of the book spines. I cropped these photos to extract individual words. Then i wrote a poem using only these words. This is the result.

I remember watching this over a year ago when you uploaded it elsewhere. I find poetry to be much more entertaining when accompanied by an interesting voice and creative visuals, and that along with the semi-improvisational nature of the poem really makes me want to see more like this.
That was actually pretty great. I'd love to see this expanded into a proper narrative, or just a longer version of the same. Voice was absolutely spot on.
Have you ever seen It's Such a Beautiful Day, by Don Hertzfeldt? It's an animated film not too unlike this in style, but using simple hand-drawn animation. That said I think you have your own distinct tone here. Would love to see more.
Awesome, glad you liked it! I wont make any promises but I could certainly see myself making more of this. I haven't seen 'It's Such a Beautiful Day' but after searching it i remember watching the trailer a year ago and putting it on my "to watch" list. Hopefully i'll get round to seeing it.
