It took me at least ten games to figure out how the detector works. It’s not complicated, but with so little time to test it, I wasn’t sure I was using it correctly.

I think having the phases pass while I’m in inventory is harsh. I must read what an item does, and then hope to get it in a correct square without wasting much time. Meanwhile, time ticks away, and octopodes multiply. At least they can’t hurt me until I exit inventory. I used inventory as pause once. I returned to find myself DRASTICALLY outnumbered.

heaven forbid if you get a foot hold! when you make games to hard people tend to move on quick tone the enemies and spawn rate down a bit.
