While your series is quite different, it is rather low-quality. You lose points for your pontifications. You may be trying to be funny, but Ayn Rand, with all her defects, was never pro-Shadow Government. Most critics never understood the salient points, especially in Atlas Shrugged. Yes, one had to wade through a lot of crap to get there, yet this is true of many "classics," such as Brothers Karamazov.

You have the skeleton of an interesting plot. You need to have a cogent flow and plausible sinews and skin. I hope this critique will encourage you, as it is very refreshing to see something other than the same ole recycled and/or sub-moronic offerings.

AmazonBoobs2626 responds:

I understand that it may be inappropriate, but I decided to use Ayn Rand's disembodied head as a somewhat comical figurehead for all of the bullshit that I have been observing in US politics since 9/11, all of which probably began during the era of Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Regan, or perhaps even earlier. If this is an unfair treatment of Ayn Rand's legacy I understand, and I am sorry for letting you down. On the other hand, you still have the option of witnessing where I am going to go with this idea later on in the series.

And also, even though Ayn Rand despised the idea of any government interference with the free market, you have to admit that eventually, as in Bioshock, for example, the monopoly that would inevitably rise within a truly free market will eventually become its own form of government, one with a particularly fascist and/or fundamentalist hue. You can't lay the table bare for the growth and development of omnipotent monopolies and expect them to play nice.

Thank you for your comments, and for not blamming me :)
