This could have been better, like there should be a game mechanic or power ups. So next time try to be a little more creative.

Can you help Mambo on his greatest journey yet? Travel through the various levels in order to collect the Emeralds while avoiding the various enemies and obstacles that may face you in your way.
Was o.k. for a first-time-platformer.
Only played till level 5 (I think, brown blocks), cuz i hit a bird and didnt feel like restarting the level. The birds Hitbox seemed uncomfortable large to me (larger than the bird itself.
Do-1-error-and-u-gotta-restart-setups only work for levels that fit into one screen or are fast to accomplish. This one needs a health bar of some kind (maybe about 3 hp should work fine).
I didnt find the music TOO bad, but a mute button should be in there.
I think gaining one extra life for completeing a level would be fair.
Add level numbers for detailed reviews about bugs in certain levels, or people cannot give proper feedback concerning this.
For this character has air control (can move in air), its left-right-movement should stop as soon as the left / right cursor is not pressed, like when on ground. This would allow to hop on 1-size-blocks much easier.
The character lacks a unique skill that devides him from other "heroes". Maybe you can use that "stick to wall when pressing the left / right key" to let him jump again from the wall ?
I am totally a fan of "loose all lives and u got to start over" games like mario land 1, I would keep this up! :D

not very interesting and the looping music starts to drive you mad. Got bored quickly.
