got the medal and was a good game

There is something that can be potentially good here, but this game just does not offer it. Again, most games from MouseCity that have medals are very simple in its story, and this is actually one of the more complex ones. I do like these games, but this game in particular felt very lackluster. It tries to offer more of a story, but it does not execute it well. The ending felt very off-putting with the combination of what appears to be magic and aliens.

I cannot get the screwdriver. I have talked to the bartender and I only get 2 things to say to him. please fix this

just three hints to help out
1. to get the screwdriver: talk to the bartender TWICE of different dialogues and you use it to get batteries out twice as well as you put batteries twice into two different objects
2. the combo you see from the book for the lock: the numbers doesnt mean the order in which it should be clicked but HOW MANY TIMES you should click that specific spot
3. yes you have to mix two items in the same liquid for later

I had no idea how to unlock the cave door until I read the comments below. Once you finished talking to the professor, game was completed. :/ Why did I have to collect items in the game without using them?
