Just the kind of game I felt like playing =w=
though I would have preferred perhaps a slightly deeper plot.
I REALLY REALLY wish that it would wait for me to *press* up or z again to double jump.
Otherwise, I like this a lot.
This shows a ton of promise. It was a nice combination between frustrating and relaxing. I like that is has no enemies, making the whole thing about exploring and collecting.
However, it could stand to benefit from puzzles that aren't solved by powerups alone. To make it a little more challenging. Platforming, by itself is not that challenging.
I love the art and music. I can see a lot of time and effort went into the making of this game, and I always, always appreciate hard work and dedication put into video games.
I suggest you do a little research on platinum. It looks very distinctly different from metals like bronze, copper, tin, aluminum, steel, iron, gold, silver, titanium, just to name a few, and it's more valuable because of it's rarity.
Overall, I really look forward to this game's full release.
(@pinabutterboots I got the first intelligent and worthwhile review.)
Thanks for the constructive feedback! I decided to go with a few different design choices for this game to try and make it a more laid back experience. I suppose it's up to debate whether or not it was the right choice to make, but hopefully people can still enjoy it for what it's worth.
