Who Stole The Carrot ?

Author Comments

Due to occasional bad language the game is not recommended for small kids and youngsters :)

Follow the rabbit and help him find out who dares to steal his beloved carrots. But don’t be fooled by the cute looks of the little rabbit. Evil hides in details.

This game was made in 48 hours during the Global Game Jam 2014 with a theme “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are”.

I was a little disappointed that there wasn't more interaction with the scenery and other characters other than erasing things and simple obstacles, also, the ads throughout the game were annoying. Although the art was alright.

nice game...i like it

I like the watercolor scenes and overall look. It has personality. I thought the voice acting was quirky and amusing. I also enjoyed the different ways the same basic drag-n-drop mechanic was used.

OTOH, I found the story telling very weak. Multiple plot points are left dangling. Only the game description and author comments tell me that the rabbit himself might be seriously unstable. Nothing in the game itself leads me to the conclusion that there's anything wrong with him. The scary shadow looks like foreshadowing of an attack by the supposed thief, because we're given no in-game reason to think it represents the rabbit's inner self. It makes the ending deeply unsatisfying and left me with more "WTF?!" than "ah-ha!"

I'm going to work on the theory that the authors are not responsible for the ads between *every* *bloody* *scene*, so I'm not dinging the game for that. (Note to whoever is responsible: GRR!)

Overall, I enjoyed it. I would love to see it with the story tightened up.

good game would score higher if it had a few less ads as an normal player of new grounds i know they need ads to keep the site running but the one takes the cake had a 30 second ad after every scene

Why are there ads between every few scenes? Ugh, annoying.
