I also dig the way your characters look. Some of the colors are interesting too.
Yes, some of the animation and backgrounds could use some work, but that will improve in time I'm sure because there's definite potential here.

Animation was good but the band in the background seemed a little harder to see than it should've been. Your storyline had big gaps such as why he was run off the road in the first place. Where the tech had come from. Why the one robot was helping him.

So, your issues don't really come about in the form of animation, it's your connection between the storyline and said animation. Many things could have taken a lot less time than they did, such as the walking scenes. Those transitions between the actual events in the story made the video boring to watch at points. It was obviously labored over, and the voices were very good. Personally, I think the story was slightly distasteful and the fact that the hands were always open while walking slightly bothering, but you are very far from the most distasteful artist on NG and the hands aren't that big of a deal.
