i love the game, but i can't put the fullscreen with the newgrounds player

bug to fix: why i can't put a guy to keep farming, really, food is always low

(coal,stone and gold regenerate?)

if this was a tribute to those games, i'd say you did them justice, awesome game!

You can basically stack up a lot of settlers then start doing some sort of zerg rush

Great game!
5 stars because it's hard to come by to simple games like these where you gather resources, build upgrades and engulf in real-time battle.
I need more!

This game is basically great for what it is. It's just got some basic issues. Could use a few more units, be nice if the back row type units were a bit more proactive in getting in range, and it would be nice if there was a strategy that beat spamming spearmen at it. I included wizards cause they could heal the spearmen, but they weren't necessary. Catapults too, cause they're stylish and saved me some time, but also not necessary.

Just spam spearmen, and why wouldn't you? I mean, all resources but wood and food aren't renewable, and come in very small quantities. Swordsmen and knights are simply a bad investment. Even archers cost stone. Fun fact though, settlers don't cost stone and have bows. So if you want to scratch the ranged units itch without pissing away a valuable resources, there you go. They actually do more damage, AND have more health and the same range too. Archers are completely useless. Wizards are an ok choice too, as they don't die unless you didn't spam enough spearmen and can heal. Also they cost gold, which enemies drop, and is amusingly more common than stone. And less useful. enemies also drop iron, which makes it technically renewable, but still rare. You could use it on units, might save you some time, but still not necessary when you can just spam spearmen. So, yeah. The game is unfortunately economically borked. Could be fixed with some sort of deep mine building that produces those three resources (stone, iron and gold) very slowly, similar to the animal farms. The nodes could hold more resources and deplete faster, making it worth going west to unlock them.

Also you'd have to buff archers.

Long story short, the game is very good, it just isn't as good as it could be. It's a bit shallower than I'd prefer is all. And broken. But it's a flash game that came out in 2014, so for what it is, it's great. Lotta work clearly went into it, lotta passion and love. Good stuff. Just a shame it isn't even better.
