There's no sound, the gameplay is simple and its seems unfinished, so normally I'd give it 2 stars at best... but your idea to make a "Lord of the flies" game deserves more ;-) Seriously, I hope that someday you'll finish this project.
Lord of the Flies-Survival Instinct
You are a survivor of the a plane crash and find yourself on a deserted island. You must survive and build a fire!
Controls: Arrow keys to move. Space is the action key, press it while facing objects to use them (Pick off coconuts, talk to people .ect). Press S to eat your coconuts. Hit the corners of the map to go to the next location.
A game I made about a year ago for my English class. Never fully completed it but I thought I'd share it anyways. Do note that it's made out of plain javascript, and adding things like animations and sound was too complicated at the time.
NOTE: works on android tablets with firefox and a keyboard attached. Not that anyone's gonna play it this way, but it's worth mentioning.

I assure you my next game will have all of those things.
Great job, the only thing I would say is please make the screen a bit smaller because you can't see the item bar without scrolling down, add some music (contact me if you'd like), and FINISH THE GAME XD. Otherwise I say so far so good!
Yeah that was a necessity at the time. My next game will have a decent-sized window.
This game needs more animation, soundtracks and pretty much something telling you how to play the game. I got stuck in the first part of the game, and I really think you should highly improve this game.
Animation at the time would be a big feat, unfortunately it's exponentially harder to add animation to html5 games than with flash games. Sounds is something that I would have added if I made it now, but at the time sound was way above me. Yeah the design of the game is rather archaic, I really can't blame you for hating it.
A great book and a good concept for a game. Keep working on it, you have a lot of potential here for a great game!
Thanks for the response, but unfortunately the code base for this is pretty archaic by my current standards. Maybe one day I'll make an awesome reboot with better graphics, sounds, and much more defined gameplay features (I actually had a lot of ideas that I wasn't able to implement due to time constraints).
