You must connect horizontally or vertically adjacent dots to form a meandering path that forms a single loop, without crossing itself, or branching. The numbers indicate how many lines surround each cell. Empty cells may be surrounded by any number of lines (from 0 to 3).


Game is completely controlled by mouse. Click on a segment to insert/delete it.

I thought this was a pretty cool idea for a puzzle game. I would normally call it "original" because I've never seen it before, but the thumbnail for the game shows a completely different version of the game, which leads me to believe that this was a remake of another game. (By the way, that's a bad move taking assets from another game and using it as the thumbnail for this one... if you thought that it would help because the other version looked better, that's a sign that you should make your game look better, not just take the thumbnail.)

I would say that this isn't quite as interesting or fun as nonograms or similar puzzles that can alos be done with pen and paper, and that certainly isn't helped by the very bland presentation, so I think that merits taking half a star off of the score. Also, the music is annoying and loud (as were the preroll ads) and I actually put off playing this game for several days because there's no sound options before entering the game, so I had to wait until I had free time where I didn't need to or want to listen to something else at the same time... only to discover that you can only turn off sound once inside the levels. That makes no sense, and it may seem petty, but I feel that the only way for players to teach game designers that they need to offer the option to not hear sound before sound starts playing is to rate games down that don't, so I'm taking half a star off for not only not offering a sound toggle before sound plays, but not even offering a mute option or options screen in the main menu. A few other things: I think is important is to include instructions for your game inside the game, not in the author comments; the game didn't always seem completely responsive to clicking even when a segment was highlighted, and the cursor would even freeze for about a second sometimes (maybe when the game was loading an ad or something?); there were only a few levels and nothing happened when I beat all of them... which is especially problematic when the learning curve is high for this sort of game, so it would have been much better to include smaller levels with easier puzzles to start out. For those together, I think it's worth taking off another half a star.

One other comment (that I'm not considering in my overall rating): The scoreboard at the end of each level is meaningless, anyone could get a relatively high score by simply remembering the solution and replaying the puzzles, so something like that should only really be implemented if the puzzles are automatically generated... but then you'd necessarily be putting scores for different puzzles onto one scoreboard, so even then it doesn't really work for this sort of game. It'd be better in my opinion to leave it out.
