Walkies time! The highlight of every dog's day! Sometimes, however, convincing the Master isn't exactly a walk in the park...

This was fantastic, the animation style was smooth and very clean, it looked almost 3D. You obviously put alot of time and effort into this. 5 stars!

I agree, this is good material for a family story... which I find is very unlikely here on NG :). The story is simple. I really thought the movie would end after the dog gave up, before he turned on the TV. Then I saw Beavis and Butthead and a few other nudges that will make some people smile... and I Loooove Beavis and Butthead.... and the story kept going.
And yes, the animation seemed a bit odd. The proportions are good, the dog is very well drawn and moves very well, but it looks like you rotoscoped from live footage only for a few movements. Especially when the dude puts on his coat. Cause it could look a little stiff at times... I liked the dog's behavior though, looked very natural.
Anyways, keep at it!

Man, I had a smile on my face from the very beginning. That early scene of the dog scratching his back in the grass was very smooth and really stood out to me. There's just something oddly fantastic about the style of this, it's like it's in between being very fluid but a bit stiff in special zone, seems like a great style for storytelling. The music added to it all very well too imo. I could really envision this style being used in like a medieval type of story with an old-timey look and feel to it with the animation lending to seeing a storybook unfold and a narration telling the story as it shows within the withered pages of the book or something.

Ranting aside, I really liked it, good job.

Thanks very much for taking the time to review and add your thoughts, it's very much appreciated and I'm really glad you enjoyed it!

I was trying to get the movement more fluid but I know there are parts where the motion looks stiff, I'll try to iron out the kinks before I upload my next project!

Thanks again for your review,
Dan.
