Here's a game I threw together, which is basically a remake of Atari 2600's Kaboom! It has a lot more features however. You must avoid the white bombs, and try to collect the letters for a bonus round. In the bonus round, you play a game of "hot potato" where you can hold the bomb for anywhere between 1-4 "clicks". Sorry about some of the Japanese text...I live in Japan and coded this for a party here. Bakuhatsu means "Explosion."
Please note: If you find the game easy or slow, set it to low quality. There is a secret option available by clicking the dot in the exclaimation point in the title screen.

Note: Level 20 is ALL letters...if you dont want to keep playing the bonus round, just dont catch the letters.
Solid minigame good concept and quite challenging catching the objects was fun

I actually considered an "above average" for this, but seeing it's a minigame and not to be compared with other complex flashes. It's a familiar concept, moving left and right to catch objects needn't learning and is pretty easy. The trick though, is having to actually catch the bomb whereby most games have you avoid them. The graphics and animations are smooth, relevant for a minigame, although the game lacks some vertical syncs easily seen on the falling objects (especially those with slow computers).
Catching objects are fun, but you'll get bored eventually, which means this game isn't good at lasting impressions. It needs more variety, more falling objects or perhaps something the character should jump from or jump to. The big verdict is a 7/10, descent minigame.
Bakuhatsu Panic!
for a remake of a video game this isn't half bad. it's actually quite good. Bakuhatsu Panic! is a remake of the Atari 2600 game Kaboom,i never played Kaboom but just by this "remake" i can tell it was a fun game. it's a basic set up your a little kid holding a barrel and your catching bombs. you dont see that everyday. an enjoyable little game. 8/10 4/5
