killing the big troll is one of the hardest things i've ever had to do. but i know it had to be done. i just don't know if i'll be able to live with myself.

anyone else have the same problem?

Just so you know, in the very beginning during your introduction, you accidentally wrote that the troll stole each king's "crow." I don't think that's what you meant. Also, it might be good to make it a little bit clearer that you have to aim the cannon by clicking on it, as opposed to clicking on the target or using your arrow keys.

In addition, when you shake the bush in the scene with the gears and the pulley, you can see that it's in a different layer, because part of the background that has a darker color moves with it. I don't know whether or not this would bother you, as a developer, but I just thought you should be aware in case it was something that you wanted to fix.

Also, in the same scene, I believe there is a bug that keeps you from being able to move onto the lowest platform above the water. I've gotten all the gears in place and I've attached all the steps to the pillar of stone, but it still won't give me a prompt that lets me jump onto that first step.

Would probably rate it higher but there's a bug on the gear level, immediately after the level with the cannon and ladder.

After placing all the steps, the bottom step should slide back and forth allowing you to continue on (as per a video walkthrough). Mine never does, and it doesn't matter if I do the steps first or the gear first. After reloading the game 5 times, I'm done with it. Seems like a simple game, smooth, decent music but I can't justify rating it higher than 2 currently.
