ICONS HAVE ESCAPED FROM THE VIRTUAL REALITY OF CYBERSPACE AND ARE AGGRESSIVELY INVADING OUR WORLD.

ALL REPORTS INDICATE THAT THE ICONS ARE TRAVELING HYPER-DIMENSIONALLY BY THE WAY OF AN ELECTROMAGNETIC FLUX THAT HAS CONVERGED AT THE EARTH’S MAGNETIC POLES.

EVERY ATTEMPT IS BEING MADE BY GOVERNMENT AGENCIES TO DISSIPATE THE FLUX FIELDS, BUT TIME IS RUNNING OUT.

WE ARE RELYING ON YOUR HELP TO CONTAIN THESE ICONS UNTIL A TIME THAT WE CAN CLOSE THE FLUX FIELDS AND SEND THEM BACK TO THEIR DIMENSION.

YOU WILL BE ARMED WITH A EXPERIMENTAL PROTON LASER WEAPON ALONG WITH A CRYOGENIC CELL FOR THE CONTAINMENT OF THESE ICONS.

Use the mouse to control the Proton Laser Beam. The longer you hold down the left mouse key the larger and more powerful the beam will become. Take aim at the ICONs simular to the way you would shooting pool to advance them to the lower level where they can be contained by the cryrogenic cell.

It is only necessary to contain the yellow smily ICONs. Some ICONs are just too stubborn to capture.

The transparent ICONs can be easily moved by bumping them with a yellow smiley. You may contain them for an additional 100 points.

The red smily ICONs are very explosive and hard to contain. Deal with these ICONs as soon as possible before they blow their top and take others with them. If they are too close to the yellow smileys when they blow then you will fail the level. If you can actually contain one in the cryrogenic cell before they blow then you will gain a 1000 point bonus!

The Stop ICONs cannot be captured. They will appear for a short time and then be gone. Learn to work around them.

The crawling IBOTs are not ICONs. They are natives of the facility and only want the ICONs removed. Learn to work with them and you can gain some time.

The green ICONs cannot be captured. They will try to foil your efforts by jumping about. Shoot them with the laser and they will disappear for a short time while gaining you extra points.

At 10,000 points the player will recieve a extra Proton Laser.

A time bonus can be gained on each level if you are quick in containing the ICONs.

The Introduction screen may be bypassed by simply clicking anywhere on the screen.
