this video is okay, but I expected more.
I apologize with the messed up title right here and now.
This was originally just supposed to be a small test so I can get back into animating after around six years (which was just me making crappy stick figure animations on paint as a 12 year old), however once I started making this animation have more than what I thought I was going to put into it, I was thinking on making this just part of a bigger and better animation video.
Not long after I finished with this, my laptop got hard disk problems and was threatening on deleting everything. With my lack of ability and inventory to back up the data, I superman'd this animation and sent into my email so that it would not have to obliterated with all of everything else than can almost just be re-installed.
After some time, I got everything saved and prevented the loss of everything, very luckily. It was only about a week, but it derailed the momentum I had going with the animation. If I can get inspired to get back on it, I will. If I don't, then I will just make some other animation. So, in case I don't, I don't want this one to just go to waste, so I am putting it out there.
I think that is all I have to say about this whole scenario I had for some time. So, then, yeah.
This is just somewhat a test animation, don't expect god-like animation. I am really hoping to hear some feedback, maybe even some pointers. I am especially wanting to hear a better way I could have made Luigi to have consumed the Tasty Tonic in a better looking way, because I see a paper-shredder everytime I look at it, I made it a lot better than when I first did all the frames of him "eating" it by getting rid of most of them, because it was even much more identical to a paper-shredder.
I regret not cropping some of the house out, so it would be looking closer to luigi.
This is also my first animation in gimp, as oppose to making shoddy "websites" and gifs in web design class in senior highschool year.

Thank you for taking the time to watch and write a review, I do appreciate it. Also yeah, it is not exactly something that stands out and can wow people. I am hoping to create something that would be able to interest you and many more.

Yeah, with it being a test animation while using sprites, it tends to just look like a game. I don't exactly know what you are trying to say from this, but if you are saying that it just looks like I recorded it from a game and called it a animation, I promise you that is not the case. Even though sprite animation is soo much easier than actual animation, I can assure you that every single thing that happened in this video I did with my own two hands frame by frame. Even with the fading out at the ending, I grabbed all the frames and put black over them by adding 2% more opacity every frame.
So I did animate everything, it just can never be impressive as drawing a luigi and making him do everything he did here by hand.
I apologize this was not up to your taste, or whatever the issue you have with this, again, I am quite unsure.
