Hm no.
Laser is basicly pointless unless you target a slow aircraft on the other side of the screen.
Basicly manovers are the only way to last.
There are only 12 animations max in this game.
There isnt a good point to this game.

arrows to move space bar to shoot
hey :) hope you all enjoy this fun little game I created all of it myself for a university project, i would upload the interface for the game but it wont allow me due to its on a different flash file

bullet position and size
bar at top is now removed
number to show how far you travelled
spaceship can now move anywhere on screen

Im sorry, but no. The animation is not really..... Good. And it doesnt even shoot properly. Half a star for the effort.
the graphics are pretty nice... simple. the laser though, could of used some work though.
the one big problem i have with this is that there is a bar at the top looping from 0 - 1000.
i understand why you would want to make a limit to how far forward the guy can go, but as a user it's just annoying.
the best part about this is your sounds, they all rock, the laser sound, the enemies funny noises... the music is wonderful, but I wish it looped.
this could be something, if you give it more work, but the engine just looks like a followed tutorial with no extra thought put in.
