Back in December MistyEntertainment, Nat29, and I collaborated on Flash Library 5 where the theme was starships. Starshit was the 30 second short that I submitted as my part for the collab. The original short was made in around 5 hours. And now, I've taken a few extra hours to polish the short up a bit by adding in some more visual elements and some shading and other technical things and I'm submitting this Director's Cut of "Starshit" as a standalone animation. In total there's probably about 8 or 9 hours of work put into this and it's surprisingly good for how short of an amount of time it was made it. Maybe I should be pressured to make stuff in a tight amount of time more often...
Anyways, I hope you enjoy. Be sure to watch it in full screen cause full screen is cool. And although I have gotten better at animation since the first version of this was made, I am still evolving as an artist and feedback is always appreciated.
Sick thang remasterin dis one fo' tha directorz cut. Yo ass made some straight-up phat revisions. Da only noticeable issue I peep wit dis one is dat I thought tha explosion wasn't fast enough, n' it could've been improved by removin all dem frames. Da starshizzle itself don't straight-up break tha fuck into half until midway all up in tha explosion, which felt a lil' bit awkward.
All nitpickin aside, phat thang. Sick revisions.
Oi, that starship was too artistically complicated for me to go back and reanimate the breaking. You're lucky you got a retouched explosion! And I had to use a dictionary to translate your gangsta speak yo.
This was my favorite out of Flash Library 5. Nice job polishing it up. I liked mine the least. Anyways, enjoy!
