Initially this was going to be called 'Minecraft: A before & after' as I had just started playing Minecraft at the time.
I had always thought it was so weird that YouTube gamers always seemed to get so jumpy and freaked out by Minecraft before I'd played it......
When I started to play it I found out why! This game frightens the bajeebus out of me at times!
So i decided to make the animation a little longer and give it more of a plot: The character is really cocky as he starts the game, but becomes a nervous wreck by the end.
It's just a fun parody that really helped me to improve my animation and scene work techniques.

I didn't expect much from this when I started it. I mean, how many Minecraft parodies does the world need? However, it actually turned out pretty good. The sound was a little weird at a couple points, but not too bad. The animation seemed a little rough, but it lent itself to the overall feel so it worked out. I loved the LOTR reference. You basically took a fairly cliche subject and managed to do something legitimately entertaining. Good work. I look forward to seeing more.

LOL The old..."OH MINECRAFT IS SUCH A PEACEFUL GAME! ITS FOR KIDS...DEFINITELY NOT GUNNA MAKE ME RUN FOR MY LIFE WHILE POOPIN ME PANTALOONS!" *creepers be creepin on behind you...zombies takin your doors* "OH SHIZ OHSHIZ OH SHIIIIIZ!" theme.
It is used quite often but still very relate-able and doesn't get old..at least for me.
Comedy may need some better timing just so the punchlines are better executed.
I love that simple ass run cycle you got goin there. Smart, efficient and funny.
As far as things that can be done better...audio and voice acting of course. Sadly those things require good equipment or skill...but hit up the Audio portal, mang!
