The X and Y Pokemon

Share Collapse

Two Pokemon trainers begin to get hyped for generation 6 of Pokemon (X and Y), while glancing over one minor detail involving the legendaries appearances.
Special thanks to my friend Sectoryummy for the extremely detailed backgrounds! He%u2019s helped me with a few of my animations and even voiced the character, Jarry Potah Mahn in my Faster than Lightning animations.

While the scope of the animation I feel is small, I certainly had fun making it (and addressing the X and Y Pokemon)

Also, a bit of a spoiler for those reading the description before watching the video, I'm aware that the 2 Pokemon at the end of the video are not legendaries if the context of the dialog is confusing (I feel I used the term legendary Pokemon a bit too much :P)

Enjoy!

Then i told my friend about the new X and Y, i said someyhing like "NOT AGAIN" and "F#########K", but great parody :)

Yeah, everyone forgot about the unknowns. I have a gold Mewtwo card, so I'm wondering if they'll make them again.

Haha, nice. Yeah, forgot about the unknowns, poor unknowns. I absolutely LOVE mewtwo so mewthree looks intriguing. Can't wait for Pokémon X and Y!

ElectroJoe responds:

Same here, Thanks!

Hey nice job, i giggled and the animation was decent.

I understand the joke and I think it is a good one. But the entire cartoon was too long and my God the animation was appalling!

ElectroJoe responds:

While I wish you gave an example of why the animation is bad (though I'll admit the character proportions in the frame-frame animation and some of the tweening could have used some more work), I do see your point with the length of the animation.

Wasn't sure how to plan up to the main punchline and ended up making it too long. I'll definitely make sure the animation is a much more appropriate length in the future (planning on doing a couple animations under a minute in the future) so thanks for that feedback!
