It's really nothing new or special. It's not a bad game by any means but that music drove me insane! Power-ups could be a bit more interesting and varied.
The music kept reminding me of A Night at the Roxbury. Anyways, I couldn't make it through the first level because it was too boring- music too repetitive, gameplay too repetitive, needs autofire, no boss health, I lose all my upgrades when lose health which sucks, etc.
It looked intruiguing, but it keeps crashing Flash.

Its working fine here. Are you using Chrome? There is a problem with the chrome flash player that produces some lag on flash apps. Its very simple to fix. Visit this page to see the solution in a few lines http://www.leveldone.com/blog/?p=28 .
