You should have a way to change the controls. A button to skip dialogue would help.

Controls:
W - Jump, Double Jump
A - Move Left
D - Move Right
H - Horizontal Attack
J - Vertical Attack
K - Kick
1,2,3 - Dash, Dagger Throw, Self Heal
(These next skills are unlocked later on as you play the game)
L - Lightning Bolt
U - Updraft
I - Bomb Throw
Chains of Fate is an action adventure platformer made using Impact.js.
Runs best on chrome, may not run in IE. Runs well on firefox.
More than likely requires a decent pc to run this given the rendering through the browser.
This is my first game, made by a 2 person team.

This is a nice game. I like how it has unique art and music. The story is interesting as well. Good job!

Thanks! I am going make a huge update and port it to xbox live, it will have better controls, difficulty progression, 2 new weapons, more skills, more enemies, more levels, more bosses and a continuation of the storyline. Also feel free to check out artwork for the sequel. CoF II will have 4 player co-op, painted anims, and a huge world. Going to be working on it over the next couple of years.
the game didn't load for me. all I got was a black screen with a box in the middle.
the box is apparently a picture.

What browser were you running it on? If it was IE it won't load, also if isn't IE, what are your computer specs?

Thanks! You can check out my profile to find concept artwork for the sequel which will have multiplayer and more gameplay options. Also will have multiple playable characters that tie into the storyline in their own way.
