im working on my first game right now. so i can rate it well. but 3 stars
Pros
-Nice Idea
-Not bad Art
Cons
-you have to keep walking on the moveing plaftforms-
-Music is looped
A scribble platformer with moving scribbles, deadly erasers, and life saving paintbrushes. This is... Scribble Adventure
YOU NEED TO KEEP WALKING ON THE MOVING PLATFORMS!
You move with the WASD keys. The brushes represent your health, and picking up more brushes (if they're less than 3) will increase your health. the palettes are points (just for fun)
This is my first game so please keep that in mind, but I would appiricate constructive criticism, and any weird bugs.
note: The background is suppose to look crude, as if they were in fact scribbles in a notebook. I am aware of the fact that the spawn points can be a bit buggy, sorry about that. also to keep in mind is that this game was made in about three days, and i'm sorry it's amateurish this is a short, first project.
I did in fact make this when I was only 13, basically a kid. And in only three days! So it sucks ass.

i know what its like to learn how to make your first platformer game. i focused more on the code so the art style didnt look great. heres an idea so you wont screw up in the future, focus more on the code and THEN you could try experiment a different art style. no offense but the art looks like an 8 year old could draw better which looking at the description might be intentional but you can always experiment with different tools on flash. am i overthinking this? i think i am. im feeling generous so i will give you 4 stars
I hope you do know how hurtful this was to read as a child, and how harsh this is in general. You sound incredibly conceited especially with the "I'm feeling generous" like you're some kind of savior that's going to save this old little experimental thing. It looked like it was drawn by an 8 year old cause I was real bad at drawing then, not that I'm really saying it was good cause it wasn't. With phrases like "so you won't screw up in the future", it really really brought me down as a kid. I just wanted you to know how you hurt me way back then, because I was never brave enough to stand my ground.
ingenious in it's simplicity
- The character is animated really weird. Looks like he got epilepsy atack or something.
- The levels are ugly
- The music is... weird. Too looped.
- And the enemies
Ok its your first game, so + 1 star to make you happy. But keep making better and better games.
I'm sure you understood how rude that was to say all of that, and especially with the way you phrased it. If it wasn't blatantly obvious that this was made by an impressionable child who probably couldn't really take such harsh criticism I'm rather unimpressed. Unless you wanted to make a young teen feel like she was some kind of idiot, then congratulations, you did. I'm not saying that the bit of critique wasn't a good thing to say, but this really isn't constructive, it's only really destructive. and never give something a higher rating than what it deserves just to make someone happy, especially if you rub it in their face like it was their fault you felt like lying. Low blow.
u have potential just keep working on it :)
