it's like you set a linear path and just colored over it to make it look like you have room to walk, and hitboxes are horrible
(You have to click the screen on a level ONCE before you can move the character. Nothing I can do about that, at least to my knowledge.)
A simple game made for a class. Get to the end of the level while avoiding obstacles.
Colt is just a drifter going from place to place exploring the world at his leisure. However when he winds up in the middle of Nowhere he runs into some bandits who kill any newcomer.
While only equipped with a knife, Colt decides to bypass this town and just try to escape in one piece.

the game is playable, but it's no very good. A game were you have to walk on a fixed path doesn't always receive the best criticism, and this game is no exception. the controls are strange, the story is pretty bad, and the fact that almost everything can kill you is just awful. i know that your trying, but i think you should take this down and try again.
Not sure where the short tagline is supposed to appear but anyway, it's just a small game I made in a class. It's bare bones because the emphasis was on getting everything to work properly than let's say the story, or tons of levels/enemies etc. We were restricted in a number of ways both from what we learned and what the project called for. I can't say I blame you for your criticism though, there really isn't much here, but I decided to post it because I can show what I've learned from said class (if I have to show it to someone for some reason) and have a few friends play.
