PLEASE NOTE THAT THE VIEW SWITCHES BETWEEN BIRDS EYE VIEW AND OTHER VIEWS OFTEN.
This whole movie has nothing to do with the actual MGS storyling, at all!
Okay, this is my first full-lenght flash. This is a big improvement that once alive movie I shitted out one day called "Worst Stick Movie".
On this movie, there's no preloader, so just wait some time, then click the button. The reason it flips between birds eye view alot is mainly because I don't know how to fully function a sticks body.
For all you FLASH experts, if you have a minute to spare, would you answer any of the following questions, or even give me a link to a tutorial that would tell me so?
Q. Is there a way to make a fully functioning stick body, or human body, by not using frame-by-frame? I did an attempt, but part of the arm/leg always came out of the joint.
Q. How do you make those effects when you see a blurred image that trails behind a moving object (which is usually in slow-mo).
Q. How long does it usually take a FLASH pro to make a good average-lengthed movie?
Q. How do you do those effects where theres a ray of light, but you can still see through it fadely and see the background?
Those are all the questions I have. And also, please don't comment on all the ways I suck at FLASH, especially if you don't even make FLASH. Rather, tell me how to improve my works.

Thanks for everyone that gave good reviews! I have decided to make a sequel, but I can't start for a while, because the TRIAL for FLASH MX just ended, but its coming in the mail. But I MUST know! DOES HAVING CHARACTERS THAT LOOK LIKE THEY'RE FROM YES&NO MAKE IT LOOK BAD? It makes it more easy to see around, but should I keep using it? The reason I used it was because it was easier to move around; The movie would have been alot longer if I hadn't have used the birds eye view.
Also, does the helicopter kill the reality? Can I make the propeller spin by tweening the lines to go around?

To previous reviewers, you do not need a high speed connection for a movie that is 166k. Yes, you still need a preloader, but a play button is enough. The "looped" music made me mad, as it did not even loop. Use a longer version that is not as annoying. Your graphics are not terrible, but need some extensive work as well. Nice use of aerial shots, I hope to see more movies from you soon.

Needs a lot of work, and you need a lot of practice to get better at this, but the concept was cool none the less.
First off, you desperately need a preloader. Saves time on the viewers part, as that fading in on the title into that button to play the video doesn't help; of course it played for me, but not everyone's fortunate enough to have Cable or DSL. Keep that in mind when you make your movies. The Preloader is what determines when its safe to start watching the movie.
Secondly, you need to work more on the animations, it looked too stiff, and killed off the enjoyment of this piece.
You also should work on better dialect for the story itself; and the story could use some work if you wanted to turn this into a series worth watching.
Add to that, the dialect you did have went by too fast: there's where you should either slow it down, or just give the user a button to read at his/her own pace. I missed out on a lot of what was said because the text went by too fast.
Just keep working on it, and you'll eventually have some solid work to show for your time.
