I was quite impressed by this. This truly seems like something that would appear at a film festival. Please don't abandon this website, though! The backgrounds were of course fantastic. I do admit that it was weird to see weirder looking characters. They seemed too blocky.

It was really nice to show the connection between these two characters. I really like the idea. I guess they do get better in the end. I still didn't quite pay as much attention as I could have. This was certainly great to look at.

The animation and music was great, but the story was strange for me which ruined the work in animation and audio. He had his car parked half on the road, the speed record was low, the car could only just reach that speed according to the speedo and the ending was out of no where. Not sure if it was the realization that he made the record and was happy and thinking of his wife or he lost his shit indicated with his state beforehand and crashed and reunited that way.

Some of the layouts were quite beautiful but the animation wasn't very interesting BUT the sound design took it the next level!

Graphically it looked nice and I commend you on that. . The story was told without words and sometimes that's the best. you did well

I found this to be a pretty well done animation, if a bit on the slow side.
I do have to mention one thing though: Am I the only one who thinks 120 mph is a pretty poor speed record on a straight run? I've had a 20 year old 4 cylinder that could top that...
