I reached the third tournament, but when I click to play, at the screen that will show my opponent, the faces of the players stay changing and don't stop, so I can't procced. Please, take a look and fix it.
Snooker - the Daddy of all billiards games! Billiard Blitz Snooker Star lets you play snooker against a range of AI opponents, with quick play and tournament modes, and lots of trophies to collect.
I hope you like this game I've made. For fans of snooker, you will probably already know what you are doing, but if you've never played snooker before, please take a moment to read through the rules - it's a bit more complex than pool, but well worth the effort. Once you get the hang of how to play, the game can open up a world of strategy and tactics.
Tips for players new to the game of snooker:
The winner is the person who scores the most points. Start by placing the cue ball in the semicircular 'D'. The first shot of either player's turn the target is to pot a red ball, for one point. If you pot a red, you may then attempt to pot a non-red (called a 'colour') for bonus points. If you get a colour in, you then go back to the reds, and so on. The black is worth the most at 7 bonus points, so getting combinations of red, black, red, black, etc. is the best way to score heavily. Once all of the reds are potted, the colours should be potted in order of their value, which is yellow, green, brown, blue, pink and black. If you're not sure what to aim for, it tells you at the top right of the screen. If you don't think you can pot the target ball, try playing a safety shot - this means putting the cue ball in a position which makes it difficult for you opponent on his next turn. If you force him into making a foul, you'll get bonus penalty points. I hope that helps!
Be warned, the hardest opponents are seriously good. They have the ability to play positional shots, safety shots, get out of tricky positions, and given the chance will clear up the table in one go. The lower ranked opponents will give the average player a good game, but please note that to beat the best will take a fair bit of practice and patience.
Finally, if anyone would like to attempt a 107 maximum break and record it to youtube, please post your links here - I would love to see your attempts! :)
I hope you enjoy the game. If you'd like to give me feedback, you can contact me at support@andromedus.com
