Arrow keys to move, space to shoot. Press B to pause the game, and press V to toggle music on/off. You receive an extra life every 500 points. Your character will wrap around the edges of the screen, like in Asteroids.
I just re-submitted this after getting some complaints. One of them was that the screen was too small, so I made it bigger. I wasn't sure how much bigger to make it, so I just made it 100px in each direction. If that's not right, let me know. It's easy to fix.

you should do that, also the spin should be smother and faster. maybe so over rotate? this reminds me of the days when i was a kid in a=the arcade tho and i can apreciate a classic, but umm get them updates

Actually, this took me exactly 2 weeks.
Clean, simple. Nothing to complain about aside from the short playability. You have a solid foundation; the best thing you can do from here is expand on it.
First Hyper Pixel man, now THIS?! This is NOTHING like Geometry Wars! This is just a plastic-looking triangle nudging around shooting things! You want to know how to make a game? PUT EFFORT INTO IT!!! Games like this makes you wonder how many pieces of shit like this are on NewGrounds!
I know it can be hard to make game but you can do better
