I didn't catch onto the phone symbolism. I thought it was cute, although the action scene was really choppy and it didn't all make sense to me. I mean I understand stress was beaten, but if you've seen the first Transformers and watch two transformers fight it seemed as confusing and cluttered as that. The animation was also choppy which I didn't mind. One thing I'd like to note is that when the phone is still ringing, the guy nods his head as if he understands what someone is saying. So is this an audio mistake or is his nodding symbolize a different gesture?

Not a bad movie by any means, the animation was pretty tight and the audio was used pretty well to give a visceral feel for the "fight scene." Didn't quite understand your symbolism of the phone bits, especially since it seemed like the character was talking/listening on a phone call while the cell was still ringing, but oh well. Screamer at the end was -definitely- not needed, not sure why that was included in there at all. Overall, not bad, but some odd choices present lowered the score a bit.
