Simple story, funny and to-the-point. I think you nailed the exercise :D
I took an animation course last semester and tried my hand at traditional animation for the first time. This was the result.
The goal was to animate a narrative about a bouncing ball. I took it a step further and created spherical birds that bounce, rather than fly. This was partially inspired by Angry Birds.

Very impressive work, Mr. Campbell! The ending was amusing, too. Just curious, what other pieces did you create in this animation course you mentioned?
