Really good job, but needs better animation and cleare voice. Overall this is a very great and meaningful piece, this is what newgrounds needs more!

This is a project that I worked on for a final in flash animation. This is the first time I've done an animation and I wanted it to be meaningful as my first one. I put a lot of heart into it. The intro was a product of the midterm entry point.
Meet Toby, a short pencil, who shares his world with the power of words that can echo into the streams of your heart into a lifetime of possibilities. This story is meant to be taken in different ways including the very ending.
My goal was to touch someone's heart by the power of poetry (in a non-rhyming fashion) and retain a sense of understanding that the world has a lot of beautiful things in it. I intended for the viewer to dissect the story in their own imagination and interpretation.
I thought the story was awesome, it was actually deep and meaningful, not something you really see too often anymore. My only gripe was the "boil" effect on the animation. It was a little to shaky, and hard for me to focus. However, great work my friend, bravo.
P.S. I can't select any stars for some reason:/ but I'm giving you 4.

The squigglevision was a bit hard to control since it was in actionscript. The whole idea was to have a sense of liveliness to the characters. Some of the things like the paper is what I wanted as a static background, but I couldn't figure out how to control it.

Funny, I was looking through the list of latest animations and the majority of them were in the Comedy theme.
