I'm sorry for the low score, but I'll explain why in just a moment. The game is not that bad...it's kinda like the old-school Mario Bros game. But I do have a two gripes.

Number One--and this was mentioned in every review I read--PLEASE put in an option to change the controls. Pressing Shift 5 times causes Sticky Keys on my computer and its a pain to deal with espically in the middle of the game. Having an option to change in to space or something else would be a huge improvement.

Number Two, one hit and your dead? One shot at beating the game? That right there to me is a total cop out. As a gamer I get ROYALY PISSED at these one hit and your dead/you only get one shot to beat this games. You main charcter is wearing PLATE ARMOR, give him a life bar or at least 3 chances to beat the game...also maybe add in a extra life system; say every 100 gems you get a 1up or something.

It looks pretty good, and I like the gameplay...this does have A LOT of potential. Just a few tweaks/improvements here and there and I think you'd have a great game.
