A little game I made for the GGJ2013 that has taken me a while to get uploaded. Music by Kaylin Norman: http://www.kaylinnorman.c om/
Controls:
Player1: WAD to move, "g" to attack, "S" to block.
Player2: NUMPAD5,1,3 to move, "," to attack, "NUMPAD2" to block
Other rules:
If you time up the beat that is on your side with the little bar at the top just right you can jump twice, or block. To jump twice jump once and then hit jump when the moving note is overlapping the bar at the top on your side of the screen. The same rule applies for blocking, only you can hold down the block key if you successfully blocked for a little longer.
Moving into a shaded area will make you invulnerable from attacks.
WARNING: If you do not have a number pad on your computer you can only control one player. Two people are also recommended to play this game.
The first person to make their enemy disappear wins.

Maybe that could be a bug on my part, but have you tried using the g or , key to attack? I made the game with two players in mind, so the controls are a little odd.
What.. Is... This.. Crap. Make this game easier to understand or add some plot line man.

Yeah... adding any changes after the 48 hour jam ended felt like cheating to me since I waited so long to upload it, so I submitted the unedited original. Having a plot line was a goal I had in mind since the very beginning, but I chose the more important things like making it playable first. During the final stretch I realized I had no extra time left for polish so it could be easily understood, sorry. The instructions for the game are provided in the description if you would like to know how to play.
