I like the intro on this game, The death and having to restart a bit ways back was frustraiting the game itself is a nice shooter element and some fun interactivity, And overall a fun game I still think it needs some added polish though nice job regardless

i found tapping fire is a lot more effective than holding it

Quite monotonous, as is often the case with these games. The fire button is far from useless and you can blast away many meteors if you just keep firing continuously. The big problem is the extreme responsiveness of the ship to the controls, it's very hard to make subtle and slight adjustments to your course. All in all, this is a sub-par version of a concept that has been done to death.

The fire button seems to be kind of useless as it is near impossible to actually hit something. Even when one does manage to hit a monotonous meteor, it doesn't really defend the ship at all.
