Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeet!
My first game! Yay!
Epixel is a fast keyboard-breaking arcade game.
Your objective is to break pixels in only one minute.
Use your space bar to shoot.
Use the arrow keys to move.
This game will not work on mobile devices, due to keyboard control.
Version 1.2:
Brand new look!
New achievements!
New time pixel!
New backfire pixel!
Update info:
As the gameplay got different, I've put my new record, set new target records and reset the score board.
No more options. They will be replaced by upgrades that are not ready yet.
Before making Epixel 1.3, I'll be working on a tricky game. I found my idea too interesting to report it for later and forget it.
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeet!
Wow, that's a lot of e's.
Fact : The music you use (Space walking) is made by someone that want to keep it for HIS game. please use another song instead.
But the rule of the NG audio portal is that all your uploaded songs are free to use for others' projects. No exception.
it sooo boring shit is more amusing
Thanks for four review! ^^
Not a bad first attempt, at least it doesn't have any major bugs.
A few notes to improve the game:
Add a "Return to main menu" button.
It seems like when you are pointing south-west and shoot the sound fx is doubled, fix it!
There's a major flaw where (with little to no experience) you can easily find the Timer's hex address and freeze it, that way you have like... unlimited time to get the score you want. (Check my 666 score), fix that ASAP!
Other than that the game's good, nothing too special or new, but there's a lot worse around..
I agree an upgrade system and/or some enemies (targets not to be shot?) would make the game so much better.
Best wishes!
Let's answer to all these lines:
The button to return to the main menu is Home.
I had a bug when shooting while moving to SW didn't shoot a laser, so I had to create a new event, I will fix this bug ASAP.
Dear hacker, your score is sadly not online. All the scores are pre-set, yours or my record.
New targets? Yup, why not? I'll be working on it. (Edit: Time pixel and backfire pixel released!)
A nice game for those who just want to smash that Spacebar to rack up the highest score.
Music is original and gets you pumped to shoot those pixels as fast as you can.
Control is fast and very responsive, art is lacking but for an 8-bit game that is not a bad thing.
And the re-playability is very encouraging you want to be the best, lets see if you can!
Try to beat today's high score of 200!
Good luck! Try to beat my score first! :D
