Game works ok but just too short and has no sound. Add another 9 levels and some music and this could have been four stars.

Here's my very first platformer, "Santa Dash". It's only one level and the controls are simple: arrow keys to move, space to jump. Santa does not shoot. Jump on the gingerbread heads to squash them into oblivion. Collect all 18 candy canes to win and save Christmas.
No sound as of yet.

I saw really horrible plataforms. This one isn't bad. Just need a death counter and better physics.
This Game Kinda Lame For Only Just One Level. My Baby Cousin Died For Boring To Death. PLEASE MAKE THIS GAME MORE FUN! :(
No sound, gray background, no sense in what you do and too easy... maybe music and more obstacles and this would be an enjoyable game.
Considering that this is your first platformer, I can say that you are on the right track as far as cutting your teeth on programming.
That said, this one just isn't really "ready-for-prime-time," if you know what I mean. The lack of any sound or music is distracting, the pixelated Santa is drastically different from any of the other graphics in the game, and it's far to short at one brief level for the play to get invested.
Expanding on what you've started here for another game would absolutely be a step in the right direction and I hope you continue to learn and improve as you make more games. ;)
Thanks for your comment. Totally agree that this a simplistic game, but to be honest, I made the whole thing in about 7 hours on a whim. I just really wanted to make a Christmas game before Christmas. This is a mini game, but will definitely be expanded. Thanks for your encouragement!
