I really like your games. The art isn't bad and it's very addictive. Especially with the Leaderboard.
Controls:
Move with arrow or WASD keys
Jump with up of W
Play as a helpless penguin that has fallen into an abyss of ice and snow. Trek over treacherous crumbling terrain with little safety. Some say yetis live deep in the abyss, to stop those trying to descend. They also throw yellow snow at you, so watch out for that too.
This game was Made in one day for the 13th day of the Tigsource Advent Calender 2012, so please forgive any unpolished feature, like no mute or pause button.

Wow, this game goes way beyond what I'd expect from a game made in one day. The controls are tight, the graphics are simple but cute, and the gameplay approaches that sweet spot of "easy to learn but difficult to master." To be honest, I am rather jealous of your talent!
The fact that breaking ice blocks launches you up in the air adds that last bit of tactical depth. Dodging yellow snow and angry yetis is great fun, although it does get frustrating when the yetis spawn on top of the starting platform!
Aside from that (and the lack of features), I have a couple problems with the game. The art is cute, especially the idle animation, but the snow and ice lack contrast with the background. The penguin, on the other hand, stands out very well. I also think the background is too static. I know this is probably the last thing on your mind when you're creating a game in a single day, but snow pixels falling down lazily would look very nice with the rest of the game.
Oh, and I almost forgot: thanks for sharing this little gem!
I like it. It's addictive and the leader board system adds a competitive edge to the game.
The graphics aren't stellar, but it is a very fun little game. I can definitely see how this could become addicting.
