i like it, its okay but you have very little health and is too easy until it is near impossible.

W... T... F?

too common.

Like I said on your more recent flash, this needs a lot of work. I don't want to be a prick man, but releasing two flash games that are exactly the same in every way except for the color and shape of the enemies is just a waste of yours and everyone elses time. Put more time into your work befor eyou submit it.

Hey, it's really nice to see an honest request for review. I'll try to be as helpful as possible.

First, the title screen needs work. It'd be nice to see an actual title at the top and a nice image for the background. If you want to go even further, you might even put some gameplay in the background so people know what to expect from the game.

You'll be much better off with some in-game introduction to how to play. An "instructions" screen accessable from the main menu would go a long way, but that's also not enough. If people don't read your Author Comments then there's a good chance they won't read the instructions either. When the game starts, have a brief period that introduces the player to the controls, mechanics, and objectives of the game. How you choose to do this is up to you, but the briefer and subtler the better.

You'll also benefit greatly from some variety in gameplay. For most people, the concept of a 2D zombie shooter game involves a large variety of powerups, guns, upgrades, and unlockables, not to mention a lot of variety in the zombies themselves. Give some zombies different personalities and powers, give some guns different strengths and weaknesses, and most of all give the player some reason to play for more than the first 30 seconds. Maybe some boss zombies or checkpoints or levels or achievements -- something, anything to break up the monotony. Three last gameplay suggestions: 1) use the mouse to fire instead of the space bar, 2) fire rapidly when the trigger is held down (carpal tunnel is painful), and 3) make the player have a finite supply of bullets.

You'll also want more sound effects: groans, moans, some sound for getting hit. It's also a good idea to credit the music you use in-game.

Please consider taking some time to improve your art as well. Pixel art is tough to do well (I've tried and failed), but you should at least make your characters recognizable and your tiles less tile-looking. The icon of the game should also be about more than the title.

Also, if I just died, I want to know what my score was! Being able to get back to the main menu would also be nice. To take score a step further, you could have a high score table so people can earn bragging rights. That's always a good thing. ;-)

Finally, I'd like to thank you for sharing this game and soliciting feedback, that's a brave thing to do. I hope you find that following my advice leads to better games in the future.
