When I get to the later levels, it's completely unplayable because of the lag. Could there possibly be a low quality/turn off special effects kind of thing?
Farming sim meets bullet hell shooter in a bout of desperation and regret in Harvestation: Farmocalypse.
Once a year, they come back to take over your Future ARMaments lab. This time you are prepared. You have constructed 5 very finely tuned drones with weapons capable of stopping the fleet before they reach the surface.
They can only stay in orbit for two weeks, so it is up to you to survive and keep them at bay long enough to force a retreat.
You have full use of your lab during the day, so manufacture what enhancements you might need for the night, it will get hectic.
Don't panic. Plan wisely. Good luck.

11-19-2012 Updates in progress:
Making the ship's hit zone smaller
Changing movement a bit to make it feel less rigid
Improving overall framerate (swapping to my better rendering engine)
Adjusting some of the bullet patterns to prevent overlap; all that does is cause unnecessary lag.
Hoping to have this update in late tonight.
Thanks for playing!

The game seems good but the special effects left flash hanging for minutes on my machine. Maybe a switch to turn off all effects might help "low-end machines". Or a check on the frame rate to disable anything to slow on the player computer. Otherwise a fun game where the powerup menu is part of the gameplay :)
Shit is too hard to dodge
Fun mechanic! I like that you can try your hand at a bullethell, but that isn't really the focus of the whole thing. If you have enough bombs and shields, staying alive isn't a problem, until the late stages.
The bullets are very difficult to evade, and the Flash keeps crashing after a few rounds. Check your program.
Good to know, will take a look. I haven't experienced any crashes yet, but will see if I can see what is happening. I agree about the bullets, will be decreasing the ship's hit box and make the ship a bit easier to control. Thanks for the feedback!
