amazing yet another game i review today that is just a blank white screen.
Just a quick game I made as my third and final hand-in for the semester in my prototyping class. Coded in AS3 using FlashDevelop.
It's not meant to be pretty, which is why I haven't spent much time on colors of the text and so forth.
Updated 20.11.12, 3 AM CET: Made some bug-changes, should finally have fixed the bug making people unable to finish the game if they had already died once, please let me know if you experience any problems.

Well this is either broken or a troll game.
Get the weapon and everything still kills you.
Should be fixed now, I think. Sorry that you experienced the bug. I'm not a highly experienced programmer and the solution came as an epiphany while I was doing something entirely different.
I'm getting the weapon not being registered bug so the bug has not been stopped but I use google chrome just in case the problem has not been noticed on a different browser
I think the bug should be squashed now. Let me know if you still have any issues.
Best Point'n'Click ever.
I'd play this over Monkey Island 5.
Hehe, thank you! :)
I'm a big fan of point and click games myself, and I would definitely play MI5.
I'm not a very good programmer, so this is something simple I made in my first semester of Game Design studies. The writing is cliche and everything, but the task was to make a simple prototype that you could sell to someone on the potential of what it can become. (Having a presentation for a mock-sale of this on Tuesday actually.)
Again, thank you for your feedback. :)
I honestly don't understand. Are we supposed to be able to progress past extinguishing the fire? I've gotten the assault rifle about 20 times now, clicked 10 different spots on both of the enemies, gone back south about 5 times before going one of the other two directions just to die again, and I can't figure out what it is you expect me to do. Even if this is a prototype or beta, there's not much to do. If there's supposed to be a way to progress, I can't find it. I feel very frustrated and confused after playing this.
I'm sorry to hear that, I thought I had been able to remove that bug.
It seems to sometimes (often in your case) not register correctly that you pick-up the weapon.
I made some changes after internal testing showed this error, and we didn't get that error anymore, so I thought I managed to squash that bug., and that it was ready to be uploaded. I will look into fixing it as soon as possible, but not sure when. Depends on how long it takes me to find a solution. (I have a heavy workload for next week with final turn-ins in all subjects.)
Only workaround I can offer for now is to keep trying. It usually registers the pickup of the weapon eventually.
Again, terribly sorry that you encountered this bug. I thought for sure it was bug-free now.
Edit: I just uploaded a new version of the game, hopefully removing this bug for people who experienced it. Let me know if you still have problems. :)
