Hey! To start this decade right, we believe Newgrounds should be ad-free for EVERYONE. For this to work, we need people who have the means to become paying supporters. For just $3 per month or $25 for the year, you can help this happen and get some nice perks!

For the month of March we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 73 people to reach our goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in April!

Please check out our Supporter Upgrade and consider coming aboard!

By golly that is a smooth animation!

SunshineAnBlackSheep responds:

Thanks :)

23 frames of very smooth animation. I really like how the eye lids almost have the movement of a mouth and the dilation of the pupil, it's all about the details!

SunshineAnBlackSheep responds:

THanks a bunch! I think one day I'll bo back and clean lis up though, i's very sloppy compared to so many other flashes on here.

if there was more first flash like that, the futur of the flash would be brighter...

SunshineAnBlackSheep responds:

Well, thank you :)

Next time can you please make flash with an actual story?

SunshineAnBlackSheep responds:

When I'm comfortable enough to animate that, yeah.

I like this, there's some incredible realism going on in your FBF animation and it looks fantastic despite being monochrome and fairly short. Also I'm assuming it's meant to be a right eye, which points to the lacrimal sack (the pink bit in the corner of the eye) being slightly out of position after the first few frames, but I'm not sure if that's what it's meant to be or not.

Also your signature snaps into place like you ran out of frames to animate it in, which makes it look slightly less awesome. I'd say for a project like this in future, if you're not yet up to animating a short movie with this style (because it'd be extremely time consuming based on your animation style) to just next time create a showcase of 5-6 different pieces of animation and work on some simple actionscript (a play / replay button might be good) to give your movie a bit more interactivity.

Overall excellent animation work, can't wait to see more from you!

SunshineAnBlackSheep responds:

Thanks so much for the awesoem feedback! I'm already thinking about maybe adding a few buttons to get used to things. And yeah, that style..I just love drawing it like that, it sso fun! :)
