old animationz r good to lwk bak on. gd luck wit everthin n finish ur animationz
I HAVEN'T BEEN AN ACTIVE NEWGROUNDS USER SINCE 2004. I RARELY MAKE ANIMATIONS NOW. I ACCIDENTALLY FOUND THIS SCENE, THAT I'D SPENT HOURS ON. I'M ONLY UPLOADING IT SO I CAN SHARE WITH FRIENDS SO DON'T GET ALL PISSY THAT YOU DON'T GET IT, BECAUSE THERE'S NO WAY YOU WILL. WANT TO KNOW MORE? I GUESS I'LL SHUT OFF CAPS LOCK FOR ONCE IN MY LIFE, THEN.
I spent select moments from about ages 13-18 working on a cartoon called "The Legend of Dick Longrod". It started as an immature dick joke, but would eventually evolve into an idea for a video game trilogy. The story went from being about sword shaped penises and metrosexual looking heroes to one based off my personal theories on creation/religion, government, love, hate - you know, all kinds of deep stuff that many role playing games (at least the ones I borrowed/played as a kid) have been known to tackle. This is a story that would involve all that, plus a pantless villian.
Anyway, there were so many different animated/unfinished shorts I would make for "Dick Longrod" during those teenage years. The original reason I taught myself Flash was so I could bring the idea to life. Currently, I'm 26 years old, and I still bring this up at least once or twice a year. Someday, I swear, I'm going to make this into a game. I don't care if I don't even watch internet animations or play video games anymore, I still think it's a good idea.
This is just one scene of the part two of what I now consider the second part of the trilogy. It's a long story...literally and figuratively. The first part is actually on Newgounds, in case you think I'm lion:

If that's not enough, there's also this:
If you read all this, I applaud you.

Thanks, maybe someday! And yeah, they're definitely a trip.
Although the animation was all sloppy, this video was pretty funny. I feel like that's what FF7 really is, and I like the sword twizzle at the end of the fight with the two knights.
Thanks! The "Dick Longrod" shorts I would make often involved parodies/replicas of different games, but this one took forever. I was never too great of an animator to begin with, so this was a true pain in the ass to get right. I wish I could find the scene before this, though, but I'm glad at least this was still in existence.
the animations are bad and the music is repetitive did you even try?? try working on flash not spatting things on the portal
Did you read? I don't do animations at the moment. This is a scene a found from one I was working on before you were probably born. I didn't make the music, either. This entire thing was an attempted replica of the intro to the game Final Fantasy VII. Trying getting your life together before trying to spat shittalking people's productivity on the internet.
