Close Combat is a pseudo RPG style combat game where you battle thugs in a field. This is not quite a fully featured game, however it does have unlimited baddies and a boss fight. This is an example of a battle system whose full source code is available for you to use however you want! Make your own game out of it if you wish! This is basically here for educational purposes. However a fully featured game is on the horizon!

If it is shooter then sniper type... with some time menagment.Only 2 types of enemys on 1 screen, no shop,poor. I dont like end only one sentence on down screen...someone cant even notice it.
Errr, I don't really like making negative comment, but I think I have to do, this time.
In fact, I don't really see the point of your game. We are here, just clicking on enemies, and waiting to regain life, etc... Not really exciting. It's kind of boring.
Plus, and it's the main reason of my comment, I don't like what you did with the graphism. The sprites of the baddies are from a real game. Fire Emblem (6th, 7th and 8th) on GBA. It's the sprite for the bandits enemies in the game. Even, if the game is not that great, the fact that you just take sprite of other game-maker to your own is a thing I dislike a lot. I'm not sure they gave you the right to do so.
PS: I just went on your website after re-reading the description. So, this "game" is for the sole purpose of be an ad for your RPG code? I don't really know how, but I find it kind of wrong.
Yeah, I will admit I used a filler sprite for the game, but my main intention here is to get people interested in game programming, nothing more, nothing less. And I've been on newgrounds since 2000, and back then this was more of a tight nit group where you could share ANYTHING, even the dumbest thing you could think up, not because you were looking to make money, not because your a big shot game developer, but because you were having fun and wanted to share. Those were the days when me and my buddy would battle strawberry clock for the dumbest flash movies, in the end me and my buddy left but strawberry clock stayed, and you know the rest of that story. Most of our crap got blammed, but it was a good time. Anyway, to reiterate my point, this is here for what it is, a game battle system, for all to use and to learn from, if you think it sucks, well then fine, but i urge people to make something better, or even edit the code to make it something really special. Newgrounds is here for fun, and sharing our work, if I'm doing it wrong, then I donno whats right.
