Super Robocade is an arcady retro platformer.
Your goal is to survive the endless onslaught of ever-evolving robots. To keep up with them you need destroy the automatons and salvage their parts to obtain their powers and get stronger.
Created for Ludum Dare 24.
This was my first ever participation in Ludum Dare, but I hope you still like my entry.
These past two days have been really fun and also really exhausting!
Any kind of feedback, bug reports and criticism is very welcome.
IMPORTANT: For some reason sometimes the game seems to lose focus and you canÃf¢EUTMt select anything in the menu.
If that happens to you just click a few times on the game and then you can select the options as usual with the arrow keys and enter.
I like that you used the Mario Bros. game. At least the concept. But it is different. You can shoot. Also, you can upgrade your character. This is good. I enjoyed it. Sorry so many people hate it over it being similar to Mario Bros..

Super Robocade is just the original Mario Bros game.
Just a copy of that old Super Mario Bros. game I used to play as a kid. You can do better than this, be creative.
It was all fun and games until I fell through the floor .__.
