All sprite taken from King of Fighters with a quick photoshop blurring... that's lame man. Don't use other people's work as your own, without even at least mentioning it! >:(
THE idea was to use KOF characters and make them looks like Capcom / marvel / dragon ball Z caracters. I thought people will be smart enough to notice that..... I am not the only one flasher here who use KOF sprites for a game. I could have leave the sprites , but i made the choice to rework them on flash (not photoshop by the way ). I know you are right about using sprites, but fact is i spenttime on this shit
This game was a disappointment. You had a decent plot line and your intro was pretty good. But everything after this was horrible.
- Gameplay: The only thing that kept me going was the music. I guess you could say it pumped me up a little but that was about it. And your buy system is as boring as can be.
- Animation: Your intro was pretty good. But everything else sucked. Their attacks were just plain awful and completely unoriginal. Seriously? Batarangs? Not to mention you did not even take the time to create a melee system. This is more of a shooter than brawler.
- Quality/Graphics: To be honest these were pretty bad to. They looked like blurs and bothered my eyes slightly. Why did you not just use sprites? It would have looked MUCH better than whatever the Hell this is.
- Music: The only reason I even gave this two stars. If it was not for that you would be looking at a half star rating. As repetitive as it was. I did enjoy it quite a bit.
- Plot-line: It was actually pretty interesting and if the game was actually any good it could have had a lot of potential. The plot-line is even better than the game. (And not even by that much)
Honestly I highly doubt you would play this more than once every week. (I would say a month or two but you never know.) I am glad I have never played the first one yet. I can not even imagine how horrible that one must be.
I found the opponent constantly took 0 time to traverse the screen so it was occupying the same space on the screen as my sprite ALL the time. There's a lot going on here design wise and code wise maybe needed more polish time?
not even worth the time
