- As well as a new Game Modifiers screen and five new medals, GRADUATEs can now "pass" the Golden Mallet to other GRADUATEs! There are bound to be some nasty bugs in the game, so if you spot one please send me a message.
Graduates and Gorillas: the game is a strategic board game, featuring the S5 Graduate and the S3 Gorilla Suit Guy from LEGO's Collectible Minifigure series. It was submitted to LEGO CUUSOO with the aim of making it an official LEGO set.
In this demo of the game you control the GRADUATEs, whose task it is to reach Bristowe on top of the balcony. Bristowe has an endless army of GORILLAs at his disposal to try and capture the GRADUATEs. Which side will come out on top?

This game is actually pretty easy but it seems I will be in the extreme minority with that opinion because most people are just bad at it.
Yes the game does have a luck component, however it also has a huge statistics and strategy component and yes you can get all the medals without needing inordinate luck (you don't need to win the lottery or anything!).
If you've played the game a bunch and can't get all medals, it's because you're using bad strategy plain and simple! You have several things you can fiddle with in the options as well as ability to select if you use all 3 graduates or only 2 or 1 of them. You also can choose which kind of dice rolls to use among several options. Use all of these to your advantage I can't stress this enough!
Will you get it all on your first game? No that's impossible as certain medals preclude obtaining other medals. Will you get them all on your first few games? Unlikely but possible. Will you get them all within the first day of playing the game? Yes if you use good strategy!
Only three people at time of this review have the very hardest medal Feel the FOURce where you capture 4 gorillas at the same time. But it's really not that hard to do if you just stop and think about it but yes it does require you to think! How do you want those gorillas set up? How do you want them to move? And it should be obvious (but I can tell from other reviews apparently it's not) that gorillas always ALWAYS spawn nearest wherever your character player is! You're near the steps? Then that is 100% where it will spawn!
You actually have to use *logic* to get all medals in this! It is not 100% luck although yes obviously there is a luck component.
