Yeah, that joke is one of most common in FMA, and its no getting old anytime soon. Animation is okay, and the voice acting is amazing, especially Armstrong . Arm strong, that name is from mind of genius.
UPDATE: Less than 12 hours and I'm already at over a thousand views. I doubt that's anything special, but I'm beside myself that this site let me reach a thousand people that quickly. With that said, I'm officially buckling down and getting dead serious about continuing to create more content. Until my website gets finished, check out my News post for a basic run down of what's in store for the future. Cool runnings!
You're gonna have to all bear with me, this is my first attempt at ever using Flash. As such, I took a few liberties with anime not having to move too much at times. I tried to add a START button, but I guess I couldn't figure that out. Seeing as how I haven't drawn anything in years, have never used this program before, and lost all my work 3 times, I'm surprised I finished it at all. Still, all things considered, I'm decently happy with the way it came out. This is the first thing I've ever contributed to Newgrounds. Or to the Internet, period, for that matter. I plan on a lot more to come, and I promise they'll be better animated. Hope you all like it.

Yeah, animation kinda sucks when I look back on this. I love all the response I've gotten over the years about the voice acting, though, considering it's such a passion of mine. I almost feel like re-dubbing this on my Yeti seeing as how the original was recording using the microphone that was built into my iPad.
I've always wondered just how all those things are passed down in the Armstrong family. You could make a flash that explains that. Awesome job with this one though!
So this is what they do when I'm not watching.
by the way, do you prefer the original over brotherhood?
The original will always hold a special place in my heart for what it was, but once I read the manga, the story the original put out simply can't compare to what Arakawa came up with. Brotherhood's mythology, the new characters and the incredibly gorgeous fight scenes trump the first series in almost every aspect.
The only thing I liked more with the first series was the music and the way the Hughes episode (you know which one I'm talking about) was done. That scene where Ed passes by him waving at on the train still sends chills down my spine 7 years later. I made my ex watch the show just so I could see her reaction to episode 25.
She used to yell at me for doing the Nina-chimera's voice because it creeped her out too much.
"....play with me, big brother...."
Hmmm, Huges sounds like Quagmire.
Was that intentional?
Nice!
